Jesus Walked on the Water

 Matthew 14:22~33, Mark 6:45~53, John 6:15~21
1. After Jesus fed the people, he sent them home. Jesus told the disciples to get into the boat and to go ahead of him to the other side while he went up on a mountain and prayed until dark. As the boat moved farther from the land and as it grew later, it drifted into a heavy storm. Jesus came to them walking on the dark water. "It's a ghost!“, they cried out trembling with fear. Jesus called out, "It is I! Don't be afraid." They heard Jesus' voice.

2. At that moment, Peter shouted, "Lord, if you are really my Lord, please, have me walk on the water too." When Jesus said, "Come", Peter got down out of the boat and walked on the water. When he saw the storm as he walked, he sank into the water and cried out, "Lord, save me!". Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "Man of little faith, why did you doubt?", he said. When Jesus climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Those who were on the boat knew clearly that Jesus was the Son of God.
